Council Tax Explained

Most of the money for providing services to you comes from central Governmant and other grants, but in Wychavon over £68 million is collected through Council Tax.

How the bill is split:

Wychavon District Council collects the Council Tax on behalf of all of the authorities shown on the cahart. The total amount is then split to provide the sevice that are part of everday life.

How your Council Tax is spent

Based on a Band D property.

This year, a Band D household in Wychavon will pay £1,440.44 on average to their local authorities - that's just £27.70 a week.
