Licensing Act 2003
Broadly, there are three areas controlled
by the Licensing Act 2003 - sale or supply of alcohol, provision of
entertainment and provision of late night refreshment.
Licensing Act 2003 forms and fees are set centrally by the
Government, and administered by Worcestershire Regulatory
Services on behalf of Wychavon District Council.
Many applications can now be made "online" - please see the
specific pages on this site. We will continue to accept
applications delivered to our Pershore office.
Please contact us for an appointment before calling, so that we can
give you all of the time that you need.
Application forms are available to download from
Department for Culture, Media and Sports website, or you
can contact
us if you would prefer to have them sent to you.
You can now apply on line for many of the licences
and registrations that we deal with: follow the links below.

Addresses:
Service of any licence related documentation should be made
to the Worcestershire Regulatory Services (Licensing), Civic
Centre, Pershore, WR10 1PT. Although you can deliver items
through our customer contact centres, they will not be deemed
received until accepted at our Pershore office.
Where a document has to be served on the Police, please use the
address:
Licensing Unit, West Mercia Police, Police Station, Castle Street,
Worcester WR1 3QX.
Temporary Event Notices - if you are sending us
two copies of a TEN for postal applications, please don't try to
squeeze it in to a small envelope with an ordinary "letter" stamp,
as that is likely to incur an excess postage charge and delivery is
delayed. You are likely to need a large envelope and a "large
letter" stamp - speak to post office counter staff for
advice. Alternatively, deliver the Notice to us directly at
the Civic Centre (especially if you are short of time: delivery at
our customer contact centres does not count as the first
day!). Remember that TEN's must be served at least ten
working days before the event, not including the day of the event
or the day that we receive it at the Civic Centre.
As well us Royal Mail's postal service, we are more than
happy for our customers who subscribe to the DX
service to send items to us at our DX address:
DX25934 Pershore.
If you would like to fax or email an urgent application to us,
please contact us on 01386 565016 in the first instance. You
will need to be able to make payment over the telephone by
credit/debit card.
