Bevere Consortium - planning applications withdrawn

Wychavon District Council is advising local residents that planning applications from the Bevere Consortium have been withdrawn.

The applications relate to 203 dwellings by Cala Homes (planning reference 11/00359/OU), 20 dwellings by Mr Mark Harris (planning reference 11/00382/OU), and 100 dwellings by Bellway Homes (planning reference 11/00151/PN) on land at Gwillam’s Farm, Bevere.

The applications have been withdrawn following objections raised by Planning Officers over highways, conservation and heritage, detailed design and layout, master plan layout and deliverability. There are also unresolved issues over the principle of the development.

It is likely that the Bevere Consortium, which is made up of the applicants and land owners of the three sites, will seek to address these concerns with Council Officers in the New Year, with a view to resubmitting the applications.   Alternatively a single planning application covering the three sites may be submitted.

When the revised application or applications are submitted, residents will be notified in the usual way (letters, site notices and press notice) and given further opportunity to comment on the latest plans.
