Historic Parks and Gardens

Concern over the condition of historic parks and gardens has increased in recent years with placing of a stronger emphasis on their value and the importance of their preservation for the future.  We have 88 historically important parks and gardens in Wychavon and 7 of these are registered as being of national importance.

The Heritage Team

Prepared and published Wychavon Historic Parks and Gardens supplementary planning document  (473.01 KB) to explain how development proposals may have an impact on historic designed landscapes.

Advice

We are consulted on planning applications to advise on the appropriateness of development proposals in Historic Parks and Gardens.
