Sandbags

We do not have a statutory duty to provide sandbags.  However, we will provide the following assistance to householders if the property is in danger of flooding.

Householders may collect up to 10 empty sandbags from:-

• Evesham Community Contact Centre
• Furlong Depot Droitwich
• Pershore Civic Centre

Sandbags can then be filled by purchasing sand at your local builders merchants.

In the event of heavy rainfall with a possibility of imminent flooding  

Householders can collect FULL sandbags from:

• Outside of Evesham Contact Centre
• Lido Car Park, Worcester Road, Droitwich Spa
• Outside Reception, Pershore Civic Centre

Please only take what you need up to a maximum of six per household.

Pensioners and Disabled Householders

Filled sandbags will be delivered to pensioners and disabled householders where there is an imminent risk of flooding. Please call Client Services on 01386 565018 or email: client.services@wychavon.gov.uk if you require assistance.
