Local Land Charges Register Information
The Government has concluded that charging a fee for a personal
search of the Local Land Charge Register is incompatible with the
Environmental Information Regulations 2004(EIR) and the
underlying2003 EU Directive.
Following this conclusion the Government is revoking the current
£22.00 fee by amending the Local Land Charges Rules 1977.
The amendment will come into force on the 17th August
2010 and Wychavon District Council will cease to charge this fee
with effect from that date.
Information contained in the Register which is now deemed to
fall under the Enviornmental Inforamtion Regulations will now be
available to view from 17 August 2010 within My Local Area on
our Web Site.
