More Merry Christmas parking offers
Wychavon has confirmed that it is offering
shoppers with additional discount parking in the run up to
Christmas.
Following discussions with the local
partnerships and representatives of local traders it has been
agreed to have on Saturday 17th December a discounted
charge of 20p for up to 3 hours in the short stay car parks
in Droitwich Spa, Evesham and Pershore.
Cllr. Paul Middlebrough, Leader of Wychavon
said “We wanted to offer another reason to entice shoppers
into our towns. The towns have so much to offer to Christmas
shoppers and we hope this extra measure will enable people to spend
more time shopping locally.”
