Chairman’s Christmas fayre

The Chairman of Wychavon District Council, Councillor Tony Miller, is holding a Christmas fayre and everyone is welcome.

The fayre – and a Santa’s grotto - will be on Friday 25 November, 10am to 3pm, at the Civic Centre in Pershore (Santa’s grotto is 10am to 1pm only).

The fayre will have stalls selling jewellery, scented candles, handmade wooden gifts, local food preserves and chutneys, Christmas decorations, hats and local paintings.

There will also be a charity raffle with the prize being a voucher for a 14lb turkey, which has been donated by Abbey Butchers in Pershore. All proceeds raised from the fayre are going to the Chairman’s charities – Acorns and Cross Roads Care.

Councillor Miller said: “This promises to be an exciting event, with plenty of local crafts people selling quality gifts, my charity raffle and of course the Santa’s grotto. Relish café is right next door to us too, so people can do a bit of shopping and then treat themselves to some delicious refreshments all under one roof.”
