Public event on odour issue

Wychavon District Council held a public meeting on 17 November - 6pm at the Civic Centre, Pershore to look into the ongoing odour issue from a farm in the Stoulton/Wadborough area.

The meeting was chaired by Jack Hegarty, Managing Director of Wychavon. Representatives attended from Worcestershire Regulatory Services to present their findings after investigating the farm. Also in attendance the Environment Agency and Peter Luff MP.

Jack Hegarty, Managing Director for Wychavon, said: “We think it’s important when residents raise serious concerns about an issue to tackle them head on.  This is why we’ve held this public meeting to give people an opportunity to ask questions and hopefully to reach a conclusion that tackles the issue for those living near to this farm.”
