Apprenticeships - Meeting the Local Demand
A conference for employers

Date: Thursday 19 April 2012

Time: 7.30am-10.30am

Venue: Pitch View Suite, Worcester Warriors’ Sixways Stadium, Warriors Way, Worcester, WR3 8ZE

The conference is to help employers learn more about the benefits of employing an apprentice, the financial support available to employers and how to start the recruitment process. It will also be an opportunity to meet training providers and network with businesses. Local businesses and their apprentices will be at the conference to talk about their experiences.

Agenda:

7.30am – Welcome and introduction, Worcestershire Training Provider Association

7.35am – Keynote speaker, Worcester Bosch

8.00am – Skills Funding Agency

8.20am – Information sessions (What are the benefits to my business? Employers' experiences. What is involved and how you can get started.)

9.30am – Breakfast, networking, meet the training providers

10.30am - Close
