Notice served on farm
An abatement notice has been served today (14 February) by
Wychavon to A and A Rodenhurst Ltd and the owners of Wadborough
Park Farm.
The notice has been served to tackle odour causing a nuisance to
local residents, arising from cattle and the storage of slurry and
waste. The notice, which has been issued under powers in the
Environmental Protection Act, gives the owners of the farm 90 days
to stop the problem or face possible further enforcement
action.
Steve Jorden, Head of Worcestershire Regulatory Services
said “After investigations into Wadborough Park Farm we
have clearly identified it as the source of the smell plaguing the
lives of local residents. This notice shows that we are
serious about tackling this issue and will take any action
necessary.”
Residents are asked to continue to report issues so local
