give extra space particularly for arts and crafts.
There will be Performing Arts at the
Norbury Theatre.
And there will be live music in
town.

On 17th July 2011, Evesham Arts 4 All
Day took place at Evesham Arts Centre showcasing
artists & potters, music, arts & drama groups;
writing, painting, drawing, dance & drama classes. The day also
included the opportunity to get a
caricature done of yourself or
having your face painted while enjoying the great
atmosphere and meeting new people.
Evesham Arts 4 All Day gives the local community a
chance to see what’s going on in the arts, ask questions and get
involved. The day was a great success with the participants being
able to show what they can offer and the public enjoying the
performances. All in all the day turned out very positive for all
involved!

Saturday March 5th 2011 saw the third Droitwich Spa
Arts 4 All event, held at the Norbury Theatre. The aim of
this event was to raise the profile of local arts organisations and
artists, both voluntary and professional, and to show the range of
opportunities open to everyone in the Droitwich Spa area.
There was a great range of performances, taster sessions, and
displays on offer, including music from Worcester School of Rock,
Worcester Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and W Factor finalists,
along with a large range of displays of fine arts, and even
knitting. Over 300 people were involved in the day, with much
interest in signing up for activities.
Performing arts workshops were provided by Encore Theatre Academy.
Norbury Theatre members hosted theatre tours which were much
appreciated. And the bar team made sure everyone was suitably
refreshed throughout the day.
And out of the event came an “Arts 4 All” Directory 2011 which is
available from the Theatre, Droitwich Library, and can be viewed
via the For Droitwich
Spa website.
The event was organised by John Dudley, Liz McCabe, Jenny Davis,
and David Goode, and was made possible through a partnership
between For Droitwich Spa, The Norbury Theatre, and Wychavon
District Council’s Arts Development team.
It was a great day and general feedback from all was they would
like to see it again.
Pictures of the event

Feedback from the event was very positive and the general view
from the public and exhibitors was for the event to happen again
next year.
