Party in the Parks 2011

The 2011 Party in the Park events were another great success. This year we decided to make it a celebration of what is available in your community. Many local clubs and organisations took part in the event, either to showcase what they do, give out information or be on hand to answer any questions. Local sports clubs came along and gave taster sessions for children giving them the opportunity to try the sport and see if it is something they may like to do. We also had live music with performances from the children involved in the Youth Music Project and W Factor, we had face painting, circus skills, henna and a climbing wall (Evesham & Pershore) which were all local, even the weather was mainly on our side! It was a great three days and very well received by all and Wychavon District Council Community Development Team would like to thank everyone who supported the event.
