Wychavon Strategic Partnership

Most districts only have one Local Strategic Partnership (LSPs). In Wychavon we’ve created three area based LSPs and a district wide, co-ordinating - the Wychavon Strategic Partnership.

Councillor Audrey Steel chairs the Wychavon Strategic Partnership, which brings together the following partners:

While the three area based partnerships focus on local delivery, the Wychavon Strategic Partnership takes a more strategic role. It is responsible for:

  • preparing the Community Strategy
  • managing and reporting progress against Community Strategy priorities
  • giving direction to the three local partnerships
  • leading the Opportunity Vale of Evesham project
  • exploring joint approaches to strategic issues across the distric
  • building links with the countywide LSP, the Worcestershire Partnership, and its Theme Groups
