All people can be affected but it is mainly those over 50

In England, around 200 cases are reported each year, however
half of these are caught abroad. Most cases are isolated
incidents but outbreaks can occur.
Where are Legionella bacteria found?
- ponds
- hot and cold water systems (showers, taps, water tanks, spa
baths)
- water in air conditioning cooling systems
