2010 Consultations

  • St Peter's Fields and Lido Park management plan (014/10)

This Consultation closed on Friday 14 January 2011 and sought the views of residents on the new management plan for St Peter's Fields and Lido Park.

The plan assesses the current state of the park and proposes items that need to be addressed for improvement. It will form the basis for submission for a green flag award when a park is deemed ready to apply.

The plan was also available in the Droitwich Community Contact Centre and a drop in session was held with the Parks Officer on Thursday 06 January 2011 10am - 4pm

  • Wychavon New Governance (013/10)

Legal requirements meant that we had to change the way the council is led. We had to decide between 2 types of governance – the “Elected Mayor” and cabinet or “Strong Leader” and cabinet. We sought resident's views about which style was preferred.

This consultation closed on Friday 03 December 2010 for the Councillors to take account of any views on 14 December.

  • Blake Avenue redevelopment (011/10)

This was a resident specific consultation, for residents surrounding the open space, Emmanuel Church and local shop on Blake Avenue, Droitwich.

Residents were also invited to an open session to view the plans, raise questions and give feedback on the design on Friday 08 October 7pm - 9pm or Saturday 09 October 10am - 12pm at the Community Centre, Blake Avenue, Droitwich Spa

The following plans are draft but show a possible concept for the development;

  1. A location plan - The area being developed is outlined red, the existing green as shaded in green is not part of the development, A represents the Emmanuel Church, B represent the Community Centre.
  2. A block plan - Showing the view from above.
  3. A layout plan - Including possible accommodation layout.
  4. A street scene - Showing the view you would see from the road

  • Common Road Meadow redevelopment (008/10)

This was a resident specific consultation, for residents surrounding the meadow land off Common Road in Evesham. Residents surrounding the area were sent a postcard to take part and put forward ideas and views on what improvements could be made to this area of open space.

Residents were also invited to an open evening to view the plans, raise questions and give feedback on the design on Monday 20th September 4pm - 8pm or Saturday 25th September 10am - 4pm at the Elim Christian Centre, Chapel Road, Evesham

This consultation closed on 04 October 2010. A summary of the results and full report is available.

Work on the play area started at the end of 2011 and was officially opened on Friday 2 March 2012.

  • Wychavon Allotments Questionnaire (007/10)

A short questionnaire regarding current level of demand for allotments across Wychavon. Please note: The parishes and Town Councils are responsible for providing allotments in Wychavon.

This questionnaire closed on 31st August 2010. The Allotments Scrutiny Team Final Report is available to view as a pdf.

  • Wychavon Parks 2010 Survey (005/10)

We ran a series of face to face surveys across the District, to learn more about usage at the five main District parks.

  • Droitwich Brine Baths (002/10)

A well attended public meeting was held on Monday 01 February 2010 at Droitwich Community Hall with a public questionnaire available to complete.  This consultation ended on 01 March 2010. A summary of results is available to view along with a full breakdown of results by respondents groups (pdf best viewed at 75%).

  • Hill Close Open Space (001/10)

This was a resident specific consultation, for residents surrounding an area of open space in Hill Close, Pershore. This consultation ended 15 February 2010.  A summary of results is available to view.
