Election Jobs
On the run up to elections, on the day of poll itself, and post
election for the counting of votes, the Returning Officer for the
Wychavon area will need to recruit temporary staff to various
clerical jobs.
To help us recruit to these positions we hold a list of people
who are interested in applying for these jobs and then we may
contact them at the appropriate time to ascertain their
availability on the required dates.

you can be considered for positions in the future please complete
the Expression
of interest form (9.85 KB) and return it to the
address shown.

General Clerical Positions
These temporary posts may be for fixed or variable hours for one
day or a number of days to be agreed at the relevant time.
As of 29 February 2008 all new employees are required to
demonstrate their entitlement to work in the UK. All new employees
will need to return the expression of interest form in person to
the Elections Office, Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive,
Pershore, Worcs, WR10 1PT and must produce one of the following
- A valid Passport.
- A full birth certificate issued in the UK, Channel Islands,
Isle of Man or Ireland accompanied by an official document giving
the applicants permanent National Insurance Number.
- A residence permit, registration certificate or document
certifying or indicating permanent residence
- Other forms of entitlement may be acceptable, please contact
the Election Officer for information or visit the Borders
& immigration Agency website.
Canvassers
We also recruit Canvassers (25.25
KB) during the annual canvass of electors in November. Please also
complete the Expression
of interest form (9.85 KB) if you are interested in
this position and we may send you an application form in
October.
