Our Strategy 2008 - 2013
Our five year strategy sets out our vision for the
district, our aim, corporate priorities and five year goals.
We’ve structured our strategy around the following five
priorities:
Safer: Communities that are safe and feel
safe
Greener: A better environment – for today and
tomorrow
Healthier: Improving health and well-being
Stronger: Vibrant and inclusive communities
with a strong economy
Successful: Delivering excellent and value for
money services
These priorities are underpinned by our five-year goals, which
express the outcomes we’re seeking to achieve that will make life
better for people.
Our annual
promises (38.25 KB) set out the actions we’re going
to take during the year to help achieve our goals. We monitor
and report our performance against our promises four times
a year and include a summary of how we've performed in our
Annual
Report (2.17 MB) .
