Standards Committee
The Standards Committee exists to promote and maintain high
standards of conduct by District, Town and Parish Council

Complaints
If you want to complain about the conduct of a District Town or
Parish Councillor, please complete the Members
Complaint Form (Please read the Member
Conduct Information before filling out the form). You may also
find it helpful to view the
criteria to be taken into account when considering if a
complaint should be investigated.
You must then submit this complaint form to:
Mr Ian Marshall (Monitoring Officer)
Wychavon District Council
Civic Centre
Queen Elizabeth Drive
Pershore
Worcs
WR10 1PT
The Monitoring Officer will then refer the matter on, as
appropriate, to a Sub Committee of the Standards Committee who will
decide whether or not the matter requires investigation. Please
note that the Sub Committee can only consider complaints about the
behaviour of a Councillor. It will not deal with complaints
about Departments or things that are not covered by the Code of
Conduct. If you make a complaint to the Monitoring Officer, it must
be about why you think a Councillor has not followed the Code
of Conduct.
If you are unsure about any aspect of the process, please
contact the Monitoring
Officer before submitting any complaint(s).
