SPRING BLOSSOM TRAIL BIKEAWAY

Come out of hibernation, dust off your bikes and take part in the annual Blossom Trail Bikeaway on Sunday 15th April.  The bikeaway is organised by the Pershore Division of the St John Ambulance Brigade and is their main fund raising event of the year.

The sponsored bike ride starts at Raphael’s restaurant (Hampton Ferry) located in Boat Lane, Evesham. The new routes have been designed to follow the famous Vale of Evesham Spring Blossom Trail, which is promoted by Wychavon District Council and signposted by the AA.  The event is now in its 16th year and has grown in popularity over the years, and all monies raised help St John Ambulance provide voluntary first aid support at numerous local events.

Event organiser Angela Tidmarsh said “The Blossom Trail Bikeaway is a major event in the Divisions’ diary and we are thrilled that so many people get so much pleasure from cycling around the Vale countryside – we are also delighted to be holding our Anniversary event at Hampton Ferry.  Please join us for a real family day out”
