St. Richard's Festival and Classic Car Rally

This annual event offers a great day out for families.  Medieval dance, strolling musicians, combat knights, fire juggling, maypole dancing and morris dancing are some of the entertainment on offer.  There will also be storytelling of the life of St. Richard and well dressing. New for this year will be Arden Falconry with a display of birds of prey – there will be a flying display at 12pm and chance for visitors to have photos taken holding the birds.  Other attractions include canal boat trips on the Pamela May, canoe taster sessions, ferret racing, owl display, farm animal corner, craft activities, information stalls, face painting and duck race at 3.45pm.  Throughout the town will be vintage and classic cars through the ages along with the Italian and Farmers Markets and craft stalls.  Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw to win a 2 night  hotel break .
