Health Profiles is a programme to improve availability and accessibility for health and health-related information in England. The profiles give a snapshot overview of health for each local authority in England. Health Profiles are produced annually.
Gives you access to interactive maps and reports for small areas (down to ward level) based on 3 themes: Local community, Children's and Adults Lifestyle and Life expectancy and causes of death
Gives information about local areas including population, crime and community safety, economy, housing, health and education.
The Active People Survey
The Active People Survey is the largest ever survey of sport and active recreation to be under taken in Europe.
The survey identifies how participation varies from place to place and between different groups in the population.
The survey also measures; the proportion of adult population that volunteer in sport on a weekly basis, club membership, involvement in organised sport/competition, receipt of tuition or coaching, and overall satisfaction with the levels of sporting provision in the local community.
Wychavon Health Action Groups
There are 2 Health and Wellbeing groups in Wychavon – Pershore and Droitwich.
The aim of these groups is to work to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of the LSP area, and reduce health inequalities experienced by some social groups or people living in geographical areas of greater social need
