Our strategy
(53.92 KB) sets out our ambitions for the district and our residents. It contains our vision for a Wychavon that is a safe, green, healthy and beautiful district that is a vibrant and creative place for everyone to live, work and visit. Our five priorities are:
Under each priority our goals set out the outcomes we’re seeking to achieve. And our annual promises set out steps we’re going to take to get there. We base our strategy on residents’ views obtained through consultation and market research, local intelligence such as crime figures and the health profile of the district and national priorities such as waste, housing and community cohesion.
Our strategy is our most inclusive strategy to date and was formed over a seven step process that all members, staff, managers and partners have actively contributed too. Details of the process are set out in the Executive Board Report
(53.21 KB) from February 2008.
Our strategy for the next 5 years that sets the direction for the organisation and the detail of our budget and promises for the coming year. Our strategy is based on an understanding of local needs and priorities and residents perceptions and fully integrated with our budget.
We monitor and report our performance against our promises four times a year and include a summary of how we've peformed in our Annual Report.
