We are looking for a motivated individual to join our small but busy development team. Your role will be to provide support to the Project Manager to help deliver a wide range of schemes including new leisure, residential and commercial developments. You will need to have at least 3 year's project management experience of working in a property related function, managing complex multi agency projects within budget and be willing to work on a flexible basis including attendance at public and evening meetings. Candidates must possess a Degree qualification in a construction, business management or environmental discipline and have the ability to travel to locations throughout the district and the UK on a regular basis. We are looking for the following range of skills and experience: - The ability to co-ordinate large scale projects. - The ability to communicate well at all levels, verbally, in writing and using electronic systems. - Can demonstrate an innovative and pro-active approach to problem solving with at least 3 years experience of working on complex and sensitive developments. Community Sports Coach (Multi Skills/Sports)  
£16,941 - £18,882 pro rata to hours worked (subject to job evaluation)

Wychavon District Council has been successful in attracting funding to employ Community Sports Coaches within the local area. Our Community Sports Coaches work as part of the Sports Development Team across a range of clubs, schools and community settings. The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality coaching that will focus on sporting fundamentals in addition to sports specific skills. The successful candidate will be educated to A level standard or equivalent and will have a minimum of a National Governing Body Level II or equivalent in sport. All applicants will have to demonstrate experience of working in a coaching role with young people of mixed ability in a variety of settings and have the ability to travel throughout the county. All applicants will need to possess - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Good IT skills - Demonstrate experience of working in a coaching role - Be available after school weekends and evenings - A National Governing Body Level 2 or equivalent in sport - Ability to travel between sites - Ability to work independently and as part of the team - The successful candidate will be subject to Enhanced CRB clearance

Civil Enforcement Officer - Parking Enforcement (2 permanent posts, 2 fixed term posts for 18 months).  (4x Vacancies)

If you enjoy a challenge and are looking for a rewarding and stimulating career then joining this new team maybe the right move for you. As from 23rd February 2009, Civil Enforcement Officers will be patrolling and enforcing the parking regulations in Redditch on behalf of Redditch Borough Council in partnership with Wychavon District Council. You will be required to patrol on street parking and issue penalty charge notices to vehicles that are parked in contravention of the parking regulations. You will need to be motivated, enthusiastic, like working in all weathers and have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to be firm and fair whilst enforcing parking regulations. The ability to work alone and organise your own day is essential. You must have a full driving licence and your own transport. In return we offer a competitive salary, 23 days annual leave, a final salary pension scheme, full uniform and opportunities to progress. Experience would be an advantage but full training will be provided in the week commencing 16th February 2009. Appointment to these posts will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.
