Key responsibilities:

Is responsible for many of the "essential" services such as refuse, recycling, and litter collection and public toilets as well as other services which add significantly to the quality of life such as parks, arts, sports and youth development, economic development, tourism, rural and town regeneration, community development support, environment protection and emergency planning.

Career information: 

Before joining Wychavon in 1997 Phil was Economic Development Officer at North Somerset Council where he supported a range of diverse projects from seafront improvements at Weston-Super–Mare to the development of new port facilities at Royal Portbury Docks. At Wychavon he led on economic development activities before becoming Head of Community Services in 2005.
