Suppliers and buyers talk business at
The chance to do business with some of the
county’s biggest names was the focus of the latest
Finditinworcestershire breakfast and networking meeting this
Ready, willing and able suppliers from all
around Worcestershire took part in exclusive one-to-one meetings
with buyers from Thomas Vale Construction, Speller Metcalfe and
Kier on Tuesday 17 April.
Worcestershire County Council’s Head of
Property Services also met with prospective local suppliers as
future development plans were discussed in detail.
More than 150 delegates turned out for
‘Construction: Meet the buyer’ at Worcester Warriors’ Sixways

Construction are part of the West Midlands Contractor Framework,
which manages all of the county council’s construction and
Attendees who took part in the one-to-one
sessions talked to the buyers about forthcoming plans,
opportunities to join the supply chain and how the contractors’
procurement processes work.
To coincide with the meeting, the
Finditinworcestershire website has launched bespoke pages for each
major contractor on the framework that will list all of the
contract opportunities available to supply their major projects.

The meeting also included an open
networking session for local business owners, directors and senior
managers to make new contacts, as well as a range of exhibition
stands and a complimentary breakfast.

programme of monthly breakfast and networking meetings,
‘Cyber-security: A practical guide’, will take place on Tuesday 15
