What is it and what does it do?.
Wychavon Wellbeing is an activity referral programme which is aimed at treating people who are experiencing Asthma, Diabetes, Mild Depression, and Mild to Moderate Arthritis, Obesity, Osteoporosis, Poor Mobility, Stable Hypertension and Stress
The 12 week programme runs 1.5 hours each week with the session being divided into two. The first half looks at the attendee's personal food and exercise diaries and then discusses ways to improve their lifestyles though healthy eating and exercise, followed by a discussion on a weekly exercise topic and how this can fit into their own lives. The second half of the session is light exercise designed for the needs of the group. These sessions are friendly and informal to offer support and motivation to the group.

In the last programme in Droitwich the were improvements for all of the participants, whether it was weight loss, a drop in blood pressure or an improvement in the practical walking tests. All participants came out of the programme feeling better about themselves
