Cleaning services at the Civic Centre, Pershore

Wychavon District Council is inviting tenders for Cleaning Services at the Civic Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, WR10 1PT.

The Contractor is to provide a service to ensure the Council's Civic Centre is kept clean and hygienic.
The Contractor will provide the Civic Centre with a cleaning service between the hours of 6pm and 8pm Monday to Friday excluding the Civic Suite. The Civic Suite to be cleaned between 7am and 9am each day Monday to Friday.

The Contractor will supply all equipment and consumables at its own expense.

The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise.

To gain access to the procurement documents, contractors will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, contractors will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents.

Contractors will need to search for the invitation under Wychavon District Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents.

Contractors are required to return the Selection Questionnaire and relevant documents via the Proactis ProContract portal no later than 12 noon on 12 December 2018.

Any contractor questions must be submitted via the Pro-Contract portal website. Any clarifications will be issued via the Pro-Contract portal.

Research project 'Impact of Housing Growth in Rural Areas'

Wychavon District Council is inviting Quotes from potential suppliers for the provision of a research project into the `Impact of Housing Growth in Rural Areas’.

This research project is to provide the Council with an improved understanding of the impacts of housing growth, both negative and positive, in respect of; whether the council is doing enough to support the delivery of housing in the rural parishes, the suitability for the new occupants to meet their housing needs, how this new housing growth affects community cohesion, the impact for the local economy and the sustainability of the community and parish where the housing growth has taken place.

The outcomes of the research and any best practice recommendations will inform the Council in consideration of its operational arrangements, strategic planning and decision making
