Christmas dates collections released

Last week Wychavon released their Christmas waste and recycling collection dates in the latest edition of their twice yearly Wychavon magazine.

The magazine is also jam-packed with features on Droitwich Salt, Evesham’s investments, ‘The W Factor’ and contains a voucher for a free indoor climbing session, courtesy of Wychavon Leisure.

There’s also a range of articles on business, arts, the environment and how Wychavon are cracking down on littering and flytipping.

The calendar for bin collection dates details changes from Christmas day up until 12 January – with collections largely shifting two days later than normal collections. Normal collections resume on 15 January 2018.

Sharon Casswell, Client Services Manager for Wychavon said “We try to keep the disruption over the festive period to a minimum. Inevitably there are changes which we communicate to residents in a variety of ways to avoid confusion.”

Details are in the Wychavon magazine on the website and are available on flyers in key locations.

Wychavon accept that while they know residents make efforts to reduce their waste, Christmas is a time when inevitably more waste and recycling is generated so additional sacks can be put out during the festive period.
