Meet Your Council events for Wychavon councillors

Wychavon District Council has two Meet Your Council events coming up in March, where members of the public will once again have the chance to chat with their district councillors face-to-face.

The first event is taking place in the Harvington ward on Thursday 22 March, when Councillor Charlie Homer will be at the Harvington convenience store in Leys Road from 3-5pm to meet and speak with residents.

On Wednesday 28 March, Councillors Sital Harris and Richard Morris will be holding a drop-in surgery at the Red Lion pub along the Worcester Road in the Droitwich South East ward. This event will take place from 11am until 1pm.

Tracy Perkins, Localism and Communities Officer at Wychavon District Council, said: “Both of these events provide a good opportunity for people to come and meet their local councillors, without the need to make an appointment. They can raise any issues or concerns they may have in order to see what we can do to help, but these events also give people the chance to find out about some of the things we do for the community and to get all the latest news and advice on the services we provide.”

The overall aim of the Meet Your Council events is to get councillors and council officers out to meet people in their wards. The events provide a positive way for residents and businesses to make sure that their views and suggestions are heard, and at the same time they can find out about some of the things Wychavon District Council supports.
