Awards celebrate heroes in our community

Inspirational people from Wychavon who have gone above and beyond for their community will be celebrated at an awards ceremony.

The annual Community Recognition Awards recognises 'community heroes' who, in 2019, have volunteered, coached or helped others and made the district a better place to live and work.

Wychavon District Council's Community Development team is looking for inspirational stories from people of all ages who have helped to improve their neighbourhood, club, society or community in the past year.

The categories are:

The Community Recognition Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday 5 March 2020 at Peopleton Village Hall (by invitation only).
