Free security advice on offer to businesses

Free advice is on offer to businesses to help protect their staff, premises and equipment at a special event later this month.

A range of organisations will be attending the Protect Your Business, Protect Your Staff event which takes place on Thursday 28 November, from 4pm to 7pm at Sixways Stadium.

Business owners will have the chance to find out more about a range of topics including business crime, cyber security and modern slavery.

They will also get to quiz a panel of experts, including Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of Worcestershire LEP, during a live question and answer session.

Some stallholders include West Mercia Police, Victim Advice Line and NatWest.

The event has been organised by Wychavon and Malvern Hills District Councils in association with Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.

Booking via Eventbrite is essential.

Stephen Gabriel, Director of Housing and Communities at Wychavon and Malvern Hills, District Councils, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for business owners to find out about the actions they can take to protect their business and get help and support."
