After four years, the Opportunity Vale of Evesham (OVoE) project, Wychavon's area of high need project, came to an end in May. The project aimed to help improve skills and health, tackle fuel poverty and build strong communities. OVoE worked in partnership with voluntary and public sector partners and has achieved much over the past few years including reducing inequalities, improving environments and changing the way in which services are delivered and accessed by communities. Read a summary of the project's achievements here and click here to view the End of project evaluation report.
We have learned a lot from OVoE and much of this best practice is now being rolled out across Wychavon in the form of the Rural Communities Programme, which will work with rural parishes and partners across the district to ensure that communities and individuals can access the support they need.
