Public Toilets

Public toilets are managed by the Client Services department.  Private contractors carry out toilet cleaning (Mitie Cleaning) and repairs and maintenance.

Below you will find full details of the facilities and services available at each of our 11 public toilets, in our four towns.  If you wish to make any comments or complaints please contact Client Services on 01386 565399 during office hours (9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday).  For emergencies outside of office hours please telephone 01386 565000.

Our Standards:

  • Public toilets in a good state of repair and decoration, clean and safe
  • Stocked with consumables at all times

To achieve these standards:

  • toilets are cleaned three or four times a day during opening hours in the summer, and two or three times per day in the winter depending on location
  • if urgent cleans are required between scheduled cleans, the urgent clean will be carried out within 45 minutes
  • building repairs will be carried out according to need:- emergency repairs within 1 hour, urgent repairs within 24 hours, non urgent repairs within 36 hours and routine repairs within 5 days

If you find the toilets do not meet these standards please call Client Services on 01386 565018 between 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, or for emergencies outside of office hours call 01386 565000.

Award winning public toilets in Wychavon

We believe that maintaining a good standard of public toilets is positive for local residents and also encourages tourists to visit and return.  In December 2017 we proved our toilets are tops again at the British Toilet Association's Loo of the Year Awards. We came 8th in the Premier League which is a National League of the best Local Authority toilets.  We were also short listed for the best Local Authority and Public Toilets categories - we won the award for best Local Authority toilet for St Andrews Square in Droitwich.

We were presented with six Platinum awards and five Gold awards for our 11 public toilets.

The cleaning of our toilets is carried out by our contractors Mitie Cleaning & Support Services (Midlands) Ltd.
