We are responsible for the following services:
Please check the following website to see if the vehicle has valid Tax/MOT or if it is SORN before reporting it as abandoned: https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-tax
A vehicle is unlikely to be abandoned if it has valid tax whilst on the highway, unless it has been subject to vandalism or is in very poor condition i.e. flat tyres, smashed windows or full of waste. Also a vehicle for sale on the highway is not necessarily abandoned.
When reporting an abandoned vehicle, please include the following information:
- Vehicle Registration
- Vehicle make, model and colour
- Vehicle Condition
- State if the car is taxed
- Location of the vehicle
We also find it useful to know when you first noticed the vehicle.
