• Deaf and hearing loss wellbeing event

  Wychavon District Health Collaborative (WDHC) is working with the charity Sensory Matters to support the health and wellbeing needs of people in Wychavon who are Deaf, deafened and hard of hearing.

  We're holding a special health and well-being event for the Deaf. To include talks and presentations, along with a wide range of specialist advice.

  International footballer Jamie Clarke will be the star guest at a health and well-being event in Wychavon next month.

  Jamie will be sharing his inspiring journey and will be available to answer questions while encouraging visitors to engage with services present on the day including which will be supported by BSL interpreters:  

  • Local GP practices   
  • Health van offering free health checks 
  • Hearing Link and Sensory Matters – showcasing equipment and support for hearing loss 
  • NHS Acute Hospitals Engagement Lead 
  • Meet the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Fire and Rescue Fire Service  
  • Healthwatch 
  • Mind, Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire
