Evesham Business Crime Reduction Partnership (EBCRP) is an initiative for the business community of Evesham to share intelligence and report incidents and Anti-social behaviour (ASB) within the daytime and night-time economies operating in the town.
With the support of the Evesham Place Board, a managing Business Crime Reduction Partnership has been established, chaired by James Carey from Waitrose & Partners , to oversee the operation of the DISC crime prevention system.
The DISC crime prevention system provides a GDPR compliant and technically secure platform for businesses to share information with each other and the police about known/persistent offenders to aid intelligence gathering and encourage the reporting of crime to improve perceptions and the ability of businesses to protect themselves. With its Desktop and App interfaces, DISC empowers local business communities to protect their property and people by ‘self-managing’ low level crime and anti- social behaviour.
More than 230 crime reduction partnerships, covering in excess of 550 towns and city centres use DISC, as well as major shopping centres, sports venues, retail multiples, security companies and the police themselves.
This scheme being facilitated by the Evesham Business Crime Reduction Partnership (EBCRP) is open to all businesses in the area and provides a number of important benefits:
- Access to details of local offenders
- Ability to submit Incident and Intelligence reports regarding local offenders
- Information shared within assists the council and police better protect the business community and make better decisions around allocating of resources.
- Evesham operates a banning scheme across all member businesses. Work together to manage the exclusion of offenders from member premises
Maximising local business member participation is essential for successful crime reduction initiatives, so DISC coms with in-built engagement tools, including an instant messaging system and automated weekly newsletters to support its ease of use, relevance and value. It is simple to navigate around and easy to use on the go, enabling members to act fast and report incidents, identify offenders or receive information about risks and trends, in seconds rather than minutes and with full police engagement and support.

Business Members are users of Disc and new members must 'register' before they can use the system. Each member is uniquely identified by their email address, which they will need to routinely enter, along with their password to log in to Disc.

4. Location, including full postal address within Evesham
On being added to the DISC system, new members will then receive a 'Welcome Email' outlining the steps required to complete the registration process, including setting up a personal password and confirming compliance with the rules of the scheme. It's a quick and simple process.
Once registered, you'll be able to access the information within it wherever and whenever you need it, either on the Disc Desktop or the Disc App which can be downloaded to your smart phone from the AppStore or Google Play Store (search for ‘Disc App’).
